A blog about Elizabeth Warren and her Persistence

In a truly disturbing trend, Republicans took advantage of the Comey hearings to ram through some truly terrible legislation, repealing important parts of Dodd-Frank.  The link is here.

The House of Representatives voted largely along party lines in a 233-186 vote to roll back former President Barack Obama’s Dodd-Frank Act of 2010, enacted following the 2008 financial crisis to prevent another economic meltdown.

Elizabeth Warren did a great job by raising this otherwise overlooked news item so people could see what was happening while they were distracted.

Mercifully, the bill passed the House but won’t pass the Senate without revisions.
